Here and Now is a community music and art wellbeing project that encourages involvement through education and performance. It will be housed in The Whitworth Art Gallery, whose education and learning teams have generated new approaches to working with non-traditional arts audiences.

 

The project involves the commissioning of 4 new works by emerging composers which contemporary ensemble Psappha will perform at a finale concert in the Whitworth Gallery. These truly excellent musicians bring new music to a range of audiences; making contemporary compositions accessible for all.

 

It is a Gathering of Strangers with no musical experience necessary.......
